Raised in the Progress Village, a community filled with bad influences helped to create the hustlers mentality of Tampa native Carlton Wallace better known as C-money. "Its not all positive but it made me who I am" C-money speaks of his neighborhood. Street life came natural to C Money as a result to his environment, but he wanted out. Music “I needed it and it needed me” he says. C-Money began writing music chronicling his experiences, releasing his first mixtape in 2006 “Grams of Anything”, catapulting him into the Tampa music scene. Numerous changes to his life he attributes to his music, “as music changes so did my life”. Earlier this year C-Money released his first album “Da Ca$hFlow” under his label TRAPCITY ENTERTAINMENT. Ambitious and not opposed to change C-Money is poised to make a name for himself in the music scene.
